There are many ways in which students can get involved in their community. The CA Outreach Challenge accepts volunteer hours from CPTA events, APTA events or any non-profit organization function. Find one that interest you by surfing the links below.

This organization is a two way list serve where non-profits can post their upcoming events and where volunteers can register based on their interests. Sign up for volunteer events that range from health and wellness to advocacy and human rights. All events, PT related or not, can count towards your CA Outreach hours.

California Volunteers is the state office that manages programs and initiatives aimed at increasing the number of Californians engaged in service and volunteering. Join them to receive news and updates regarding volunteer and disaster relief opportunities in the state of CA

Idealist is an independent organization where any volunteer group, non-profit or business can recruit interested persons for their programs. This site has a little bit of everything for everybody. It is also a good place to find more long term volunteer activities.
